Bullfinch

2025-12-03

The Bullfinch is one of the most striking winter visitors in Central European gardens. Its bright plumage—especially in males—makes it instantly recognizable. Bullfinches are calm, quiet birds that rarely appear in large numbers. In winter they visit gardens more often when suitable seeds, buds, and berries are available.
